LOTS OF SHOWS!!!

0 Comments 15 July 2010

We are having an awesome summer now that it is finally hot! Javier is back from Argentina refreshed from the South American sun and we have headed back to the basement to write more songs. We are working on the full length album which is slated to be finished by 2010! We will be posting some rough demos in the near future and look forward to hear your feedback!

Showtime!

We have loads of shows at festivals and venues across the NW. We are super excited to play with Eric Johnsons band The Fruit Bats again in Spokane on Aug 12th. If you are around you should not miss this. They just played Sasquatch and will be appearing at Pickathon and Doe Bay. Come see them in an intimate setting at the Empyrean.

We are also excited to hit some of the North West’s festivals including an appearance at the Portland Folk Festival and Promenade Festival in Boise. Both are in their inaugural year and have killer lineups.

We also have other shows scattered about including some major FREE events in Pullman.

From the Press

Songs such as the lush, folk-inflected “Yarn Blues” and “Piece of the Pie” still have one foot strongly in the pop mold, but songs like “Traveling” showcase the band’s willingness to break the mold and make the (often dangerous) foray into jazz territory, without sounding like a third-rate Phish cover band. And that in itself should be cause for celebration. — Lane Koivu, Whats Up Magazine
